INDO -MIM BENGALURU OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2019.

The TATA Steel Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI)
will be staging the Indo -MIM Bengaluru Open Golf Championship
2019 powered by Karnataka Tourism from December 17th to 20th
at the Karnataka Golf Association(KGA) course.


The TATA Steel PGTI season,offers a prize Money of Rs.40.00 lakhs .
The Tournament is the 3rd edition & will feature a long list of
reputed names such as Rahil Gangjee,Udayan Mane & sri Lankan
Anura Rohana,who is the defending champion.A total of 121 
players will be competing the event including 118 professionals & 3 amateurs.

year.The Champions League was inaugurated by Rahul Dravid
Former Cricketer. 16 teams ( including government & International
Schools and also schools from Goa,Belgaum,Udaipur & Dubai
played on the first day.

Setty,Head,CSR,SBI,Mr.Sathyanaryan,General Secretary,Karnataka
state Football Association,Mr.Humayun,MD,India Designs and
Mr.Bhoopal,Bangalore District Football Association were the 
Chief Guests for the Clsing ceremony.

The Tournament was held from 12th To 14th September,2019 at
Padukone-Dravid centre for sports excellence,Yelahanka.The
WINNERS of this year's Tournament is Delhi Public School
and the RUNNERS UP is Kendriya Vidyalaya,Hebbal,Bangalore.

PNB METLIFE JUNIOR BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP.

PNB Metlife India Insurance Company Ltd., Season 5,one of the
biggest National Open Badminton Tournament in Bengaluru.


The Bengaluru leg of JBC Seaon -5 was inaugurated by Rajesh,P
Secretary,Karnataka Badminton Association,Sagar Chopra,Former
International Player & Sayali Gokhale,former International Badminton
Player & present coach,Indian Junior team.1100 young shutllers from
the city registered for participating in the tournament.The fifth edition
of JBC Tournaments are being held in 10cities-Chandigarh,Mumbai,
Pune,Kochi,Bengaluru,Lucknow,Ahmedabad,Hyderabad,Guwahati &
New Delhi.The matches will be played in four categories-Under 9,11,13
15 & 17 for boys 7 girls.

TCS WORLD 10K - ON 19th MAY,2019 (SUNDAY).

Defending champion & Course record holder Sanjivani Jadhav along
with National Steeple Chase Record holder Avinash Sable will be
participating in TCS World 10K.

Of the 24,750 registered runners,16,046  participants have
registered in the Open 10K,which is an increase of over 800
registered participants from the previous edition.The elite
start will boast of 95 of the world's best & celebrating the pride
of running in namma Bengaluru.

Apart from being a globally acclaimed sporting event,the TCS
world 10K has created a phenomenal impact in terms of social change 
and established itself as the largest sporting charity platform in South India.
The event is committed to putting the environment first and has
successfully undertaken projects such as the Madiwala Lake Urban
Forest and Cubbon Park Water rejuvenation.These initiatives primarily
focus on the reduction of plastic ,waste segregation & Management and
Distribution of Food waste in partnership with BBMP & Hasiru Data
innovations,a social enterprise focused on creating better livelihoods
for waste pickers.

TCS WORLD 10K SCHEDULED FOR MAY,19th .

Bengaluru,the Garden City will  again host the 12th Edition
of TCS World 10K .The IAAF Gold Label race will be flagged 
off from Sri Kanteerava Stadium on May,19th 2019.


Registrations open on Sunday,17th March & will close on 26th April
or earlier,depending on availability of running spots,with a
priority line up for the open 10k participants & dedicated
spots for first time women runners. With its new campaign
#Feel the Pride,2019 edition will focus on the pride of being
a host city & the prestige of participating in a Gold Label Race.
Majja run now reintroduced as timed category,with all Majja run
participants to be provided with a timing chip & personalised bibs.

All the runners will be timed & Medals will be given to those
