TiE BANGALORE SURVEY FINDINGS ABOUT WHAT ENTREPRENEURS REALLY NEED TO SUCCEED IN FY'23.

 The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is the world's largest non profit
organisation for entrepreneurs founded in 1992. Acting as One Stop 
Destination for Education,Mentoring,Funding,Networking and
Incubation,TiE since its founding has been an exemplary liaison
between aspiring entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Since its founding in 1992,TiE has expanded its presence to 14
countries & 62 chapters with more than 15,000 members & 3000
chapter members. TiE Bangalore was the first chapter founded in
1999 outside USA,


has played a pioneering role in fostering the
entrepreneurship ecosystem.

TiE Bangalore conducted in depth survey about what entrepreneurs
really need to succeed in FY'23. The survey findings are as follows:
1.77% of entrepreneurs surveyed believe that networking is a major
   challenge.

2. 63% of respondents noted that they need to rapidly build their own
    learning & internal capabilities.

3. 56% of entrepreneurs cited finding & connecting with the right
    mentors as a challenge.

4. Interestingly,only 40% of entrepreneurs surveyed shared that they
    needed help in accessing capital.

TiE Bangalore  interviewed 200+ entrepreurs across Bangalore-
Founders of early stage start ups,across D2C,Fintech,Healthcare
Manufacturing,Gaming,Mobility,Agritech etc. Around 15% were 
female founders.TiE  has mentored more than 25,000 startups
Globally,which have generated over 2.5 million jobs & USD 1  
Trillion+ in wealth creation.

Mr.B.J.Arun,Chairman,TiE Global said," The Indian start-up
ecosystem has indeed taken off  with 42 startups becoming 
Unicorns in 2021 & another 13 turning Unicorns within the
first three months of 2022."

Mr.Madan Padaki,President,TiE Bangalore said," The survey
has validated that the pillars TiE  -Networking,Mentoring,
Education & Incubation are as relevant today as before".

BENGALURU RUNNERS JATHRE - COMMUNITY RUN. STARTS ON FIRST SUNDAY IN JUNE EVERY YEAR.

 Bengaluru Runners Jathre ,as the name suggests it is running carnival.
Its primary focus is about getting people across Bengaluru on to the roads
& getting them to run.The launch was done yesterday at the Century Club,
Bengaluru.The launch was witnessed by Ms.Nisha Millet, an International
Swimmer & Ms. Malathi Holla, an international para athlete from India.

The Bengaluru Runners Jathre event is scheduled on the first sunday in
June every year.This year it is on June,5,2022. There will be 5 categories
viz.10kms Express, 10kms open,5kms Express,5 kms open and a 3 Kms
for kids.This run may see participation of about 1500 runners who will
be from Home makers,mothers,fathers,kids,grandparents,working
professionals,home helps etc.The first edition of Bengaluru Runners
Jathre will be held in one of the popular residential localities of Bengaluru
HSR  Lay out.Runners timing will be tracked by using RFID based 
tracking of timing & all finishers will provided with finisher medals.

BASKETBALL FEDERATION OF INDIA LAUNCHES THE INDIAN NATIONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE 3 X 3 2022 - SEASON 1.

 First Pan India Basketball competitions take the sport to the 
Country's Grassroots & also  " Road to Olympics"  project of
Basketball Federation of India.

The Basketball Federation of India,announced the inaugural season
of the Indian National Basketball League to be held from March,18 To
May,29,2022. The INBL is to be conducted across 20 cities in India.The
20 cities are Aizawal,Bengaluru,Bhavnagar,Bhilai,Chandigarh,Chennai,
Cuttack,Delhi,Guwahati,Hyderabad,Indore,Jaipur,Kangra,Kochi,Kolkata,
Ludhiana,Lucknow,Mumbai,Panjim & Puducheri simultaneously.

FIBA 3 X 3 competitions will be held across Four categories.They are :
Men,Women,Under 18 Men, & Under 18 women.The Champions from 
each city will qualify to play the national Finals scheduled to be held
at Bengaluru from May 27 To 29,2022.The inaugural weekend of march
18-20  will see action in the BFI-INBL 3 X 3 season 1 at Bengaluru at
Sree Kanteerava Stadium (outdoors) and the West Bengal Basketball
Association courts in Kolkata.More than 200 teams will be in action,
120 team in Bengaluru & more than 90 teams in Kolkata. There is
Prize money  for the top Four teams  in each category at the city 
level & the National Finals.

Speaking on the occasion of launch of INBL,Dr.K.Govindaraj,MLC
President,Basketball Federation of India said," The INBL is formed
to build awareness & popularity and to identify & develop thousands
of promising basketball talent in the country.The unique competition
format that we have put together takes basketball to the grassroots.
We are playing in 20 cities providing an opportunity for players in
those cities to play right at their doorsteps and yet be a part of the
FIBA 3 X 3 world ranking system.This is our first step and we are
hoping it will take us all the way for India to qualify for the 
2024 Paris  Olympics ".
